Terms of Service — Boo App
These are the rules for using Boo App. They cover who can join, what is allowed, how payments work and what happens if something goes wrong.
Agreement to these terms
By opening Boo App you accept these terms in full. If any part of them does not work for you, please stop using the service.
Eligibility
Boo App is available only to people aged 18 or older who can enter a binding contract in their country of residence.
What Boo App provides
Boo App offers written conversation with fictional companion characters, together with related profile pages and features presented on this website.
Characters are fictional
Every companion on Boo App is an invented character. Profile photographs are illustrative and do not depict a real person making the statements shown.
Entertainment purpose
Content on Boo App is provided for entertainment. It is not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice and must not be relied on as such.
Not a crisis service
Boo App cannot help in an emergency. If you or someone else is in danger, contact your local emergency number or a qualified crisis service immediately.
Account registration
You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you provide and for keeping your credentials confidential. Tell us promptly about any unauthorised use.
One account per person
Accounts are personal. You may not share, sell or transfer your Boo App account to anyone else.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Boo App to harass others, to attempt access to other accounts, to probe our infrastructure or to break any applicable law.
Prohibited content
Do not submit content that is unlawful, that involves minors in any sexual context, that promotes violence, or that infringes another party's rights. Breaches end access immediately.
Automated access
Scraping, crawling, bulk downloading and automated interaction with Boo App are not permitted without our written agreement.
Service availability
We aim to keep Boo App running continuously but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, updates and outages happen.
Changes to the service
Features may be added, altered or withdrawn as the product develops. Where a change materially reduces what you paid for, we will tell you in advance.
Free and paid features
Some parts of Boo App are free. Paid options are shown with their price and billing period before you confirm anything.
Subscriptions and renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel from your account settings.
Cancellation
Cancelling stops future charges and keeps your access until the end of the period you already paid for.
Refunds
Refunds are handled according to the rules of the platform used for payment and any mandatory consumer rights in your country.
Price changes
We may change prices for future billing periods. Existing subscribers receive notice before a new price takes effect.
Virtual items
Any credits or virtual items inside Boo App have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money and expire when your account closes.
Our intellectual property
The Boo App name, design, code, characters and imagery belong to Boo App or its licensors and may not be reused without permission.
Your content licence
You keep ownership of what you write. You grant Boo App a limited licence to store and process it so the service can function.
Feedback
If you send suggestions about Boo App, we may act on them freely and without owing compensation.
Third-party services
Boo App may rely on or link to third-party services. Their own terms govern your use of them.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, creates risk for other members or is used unlawfully.
Your right to leave
You may delete your Boo App account whenever you wish. Deletion removes your profile and conversation history from active systems.
Disclaimer of warranties
Boo App is provided on an "as is" basis. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
So far as the law permits, Boo App is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding twelve months.
Indemnity
You agree to cover reasonable losses we incur from your misuse of Boo App or your breach of these terms.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws applicable at our place of establishment, and disputes go to the courts there unless local consumer law says otherwise.
Updates to these terms
We may revise these terms. Continued use of Boo App after the revision date shown above means you accept the updated version. Questions go to legal@boo-app.com.
